Groups of 6+ women should register together under one payment to reserve rooms from 3/1 - 3/7, before registration opens to the public. Please email dsmencounter@gmail.com no later than 3/7 if your group qualifies for this early registration.

Groups registering after 3/7 should still register together in one transaction, but rooms cannot be guaranteed all together once registration opens to the public.

Room reservation is first come, first serve.

There are 8 first-floor rooms in the lodge and 2 first-floor rooms in each of the cabins. Please email dsmencounter@gmail.com immediately following your registration if you need one of these rooms.

Roommates attending together must register together as one transaction/payment (each paying a $150 deposit) guaranteeing a room together. Please email dsmencounter@gmail.com immediately following your combined registration with the name and email address of your requested roommate.

Any registrations received for one ($150 deposit) will automatically be paired with a roommate in a king room located in one of the cabins.

The cost of the king bed reservation reflects the fact that each king bed will be shared by two Encounter attendees. Queen rooms will be shared, but each attendee will have their own bed.

Women of all ages, from all seasons of life and walks with the Lord, attend Encounter each year and find great value in it!

Update for 2024:

We love babies and young children, and we know you do too.

Encounter is a "child free weekend" as your opportunity to be free from some of your normal daily responsibilities. It also provides a distraction-free time for everyone to focus on the spiritual purpose of the weekend.

Transportation to and from the resort will not be included, but we encourage you to coordinate with other ladies planning to attend. A ride share spreadsheet will be sent out prior to the weekend so transportation can be coordinated among women attending from similar locations, if needed.

For reference: Cliffview Resort is about a 3-hour drive from the Dayton, OH area and is about an hour’s drive from the Lexington, KY airport.

Due to the nature of planning such an event, we are unable to refund any money or payments toward the trip. Registrations are transferrable, but any transfers will be left up to registrants to coordinate individually. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

If you have health related dietary issues, please wait for further instructions to come in the months after registration. We will accommodate you as we plan meals.
